Celebrate Every Season at the Embassy

Year round, the Embassy Banquet Centre is the perfect place to connect with friends and family, meet new faces, and celebrate big accomplishments. Every event here shines with its own unique charm and leaves guests with unforgettable memories. In this blog, we’ll break down events you can expect for each season, like the types of event and what to wear.

Spring Events

Flowers are not the only thing in bloom this season, new friendships are too! Host your next social event at the Embassy and chat with old and new faces. An elegant evening of art and wine tasting or a gala with benefits to a charming charity would be spectacular options. Similarly, a Lunch and Learn would be a wonderful opportunity to mingle with others who share similar interests and understand more about an engaging topic. Whatever the occasion, the Embassy will make your Spring unforgettable!

Examples of Spring Events:

  • Bridal Showers
  • Baby Showers
  • Lunch and Learn
  • Graduation Parties

What to Wear:

By the time Spring rolls around, it is safe to say that you can start wearing lighter clothes and fewer layers to accommodate the temperature increase. For most of the events mentioned above it would be reasonable to wear slacks with short sleeve blouses, light-colored dresses, and light-weight jackets or sweaters.

Summer Events

Schools are out for the summer, let the fun begin! Whether you are honoring the graduate, having a long overdue family reunion or hosting a gender reveal, each milestone is sure to be filled with fun memories. Celebrate life’s big moments together, at the Embassy.

Examples of Summer Events:

  • Graduation Parties
  • Family Reunions
  • Bridal Showers
  • Corporate Events

What to Wear:

Summer weather means breaking out the shorts and tank tops, allowing for tans and sun-kissed glows. In terms of what to wear for the above-mentioned events, it would be reasonable to assume that shorts, tank tops, and sundresses would be okay to wear. If the event is corporate, it would be advised to follow your company’s policies on attire.

Fall Events

Back to school season is here and what better way to engage students then by celebrating them at the Embassy! Networking and professional development events would be the perfect fit. For those in grade school, consider hosting a school dance or a sports/ organization banquet. Whatever the occasion, hosting events beyond school hours is a fantastic way to build connections and foster community.

Examples of Fall Events:

  • Homecoming
  • Sporting Galas
  • Baby Showers
  • Corporate Events

What to Wear:

As the weather outside starts to cool down, in Ohio we’ll start to see sweaters and lighter jackets more often. For events associated with schools like homecoming or sporting galas, ensure your school dress code is followed to avoid issues with administrators. For baby showers and corporate events, attire like slacks, sweaters, and longer dresses would be fair assumptions to wear.

Winter Events

As the end of the year arrives, spirits are high and festivities are in full swing. For a more professional touch, an end-of-year company party would be a great way to honor a year of hard work and toast to your team’s success. Embrace the season of celebrations, and host your party at the Embassy!

Examples of Winter Events:

  • Hanukkah Feast
  • Christmas Charity Event
  • New Years Party
  • Bridal Showers
  • Company Parties

What to Wear:

Now, in peak cold weather season, it’s reasonable to expect guests to wear sweaters, long pants, and long-sleeve blouses to events. For more formal events, longer dresses or dress jackets would be reasonable to wear.
